This is not a genealogy program. It’s a photo management tool. It’s supposed to be “Intuitive”, but only if you think like the developer. The help file is almost useless.

Biggest Pro: The price.
Biggest Con: Lack of documentation.

Family History CD is an older version of the Passage Express program that is being sold now.
The description is still accurate. It is an easy way to creat a CD or DVD presentation of your family history.
The CD or DVD (for computer) will run as soon as it is inserted into a family member’s computer. This makes it easy to share the stories and photos with family members who may not be very familiar with the computer. You can also make a DVD slideshow that will play in a DVD player.
It’s a very versatile program that will allow you to put together all different types of files and share them with family members.
It’s also useful for presentations that aren’t strictly Genealogy related.

Biggest Pro: Easy and inexpensive way to share what I’ve collected
Biggest Con: None that I know of

This product is easy to use and very useful for sharing family histories and photos with others. We used it for a big project that involved lots of word files and also photos. It was easy to use and also for others to read. Seems to be a pretty fast learning curve.

Biggest Pro: Ease of use
Biggest Con: I could not get it to work with my Vista OS, though when I asked, they claimed it did work for them. I guess that subtracts from the easy use feature.
