Having reviewed the website thoroughly, I wouldn’t touch the services on offer with somebody else’s bargepole.

Don’t know how or if this service works, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don’t use it unless you are totally happy to provide your carefully compiled GEDCOM, including every scrap of information contained in it, no matter how personal/sensitive, to GOD KNOWS WHO!

Instead, use your own Family History software program to perform the ‘data split’ and export a GEDCOM from the file(s) you produce. If your software doesn’t provide those capabilities, then you really need to ‘upgrade’ to a descent software program!.

If John Purnell, can explain who he is and why his online utilities should be trusted, especially the one that asks you reveal your Ancestry Membership ID and Password, then I suggest he steps forward into the light.

Works well. The individuals are listed in the order that they were added to the GEDCOM file. If you rename the individual to something easy to spot or use all caps it may aid in searching.

5000 persons, want to split, but have to go through all 5000 persons to find the one I want to split…not sorted, no option to find.
