GEDMatch undoubtedly has the best analysis of DNA matching for genealogy around. Any information you could want about matching segments, chromosome browser, FIRs and HIRs, in-common matches etc is available.

But he ethnicity predictions it provides are all out of date by 2-3 years and quite unreliable. The website is not presented well and is sometimes not easy to use. It’s incorporation of traditional genealogy is poor. Very few matches have trees. Their own in-house family tree viewing software is not convenient at all.

Biggest Pro: The genetic genealogy aspects
Biggest Con: The traditional genealogy aspects.

One of the best tools out there for doing genetic genealogy research. Many helpful matching and comparison tools. A good and growing databases of highly motivated genealogists.

Biggest Pro: It has no competitor for the service it provides.
Biggest Con: Not intuitive. Made for more knowledgeable and competent individuals. Sometimes use is so high that it takes a long time to process.
