Brilliant, easy to use
Oh and if you want to see more people all you have to do is adjust the settings to ‘15 generations’ or bigger
Biggest Pro: Easy to use
Biggest Con: There is none
Family Echo Review by Lola, Sep 2, 2012
It’s okay, but I don’t like the fact that you can only see a few people at once and can only print a few people, so I find it impossible to use for how I want to.
Biggest Pro: easy to use
Biggest Con: can only see a few people at once

Using the website for a school project with multiple students depending on it working and now it is not loaded. All of their work is gone. Not good, no warning.

Family Echo Review by jane, Oct 27, 2011
Fairly easy to use but be careful how much info you put up there!
Biggest Pro: Easy to use
Biggest Con: Don’t put very personal things on there
Family Echo Review by Suspicious, Mar 16, 2011
Not RatedEasy to use, but then I became worried, because I don’t know too much about this company. It seems like this is a good way to harvest informtion about people (birthdates, birthplace, etc.) and then use that data to impersonate people. Be careful about what information you give.
Family Echo Review by Angela Brunette-Bare, Feb 21, 2011
Like the other reviewers, I was happy to see that this family tree maker was both easy to use and the most importantly, free. All of the other genealogy sites I’ve tried to use have wanted a subscription to user their software. You can also save your progress as you go, and back it up onto your computer. A word to Norton users, you will have to override your anti-virus software to download the installer.
Biggest Pro: The cost, Lots of open fields, zoom in and out feature
Biggest Con: the drag format and the distance between families in the same generation.
Family Echo Review by Rpet, Feb 18, 2011
Excellent site. Easy to use. Works great in my jr. high classroom as an extension to family history reports.
Biggest Pro: ease of use and FREE
Biggest Con: As usual, some concerns with privacy. This is true of any online service, though.
Family Echo Review by Joshua, Jul 6, 2010
Free, easy to use, and is stored online so you can access and edit your family tree by logging on from any computer. Has many fields in which the details of the lives of the people on the tree can be filled in.
Biggest Pro: Free, stored online, can be published into a GEDCOM file on your computer.
Biggest Con: Limit on how distant the relative can be from the founder for them to be added to the tree.
